Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Review renovation and construction plans to prepare accurate and competitive quotations. Analyze maintenance, material, and contractual costs to ensure optimal project value. Coordinate and communicate effectively with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare detailed reports, cost analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other related documentation. Provide professional advice to management and clients on cost optimization, project improvements, and strategic planning. Monitor material usage and initiate procurement when necessary to prevent delays. Update and document any design variations, ensuring that corresponding budget adjustments are accurately reflected. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Visit various project sites as required to monitor progress and verify on-ground costing and materials.

Requirements and Skills

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in construction, renovation, or cost estimation. Prior experience in construction estimating or finance will be an advantage. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Solid understanding of construction and renovation processes. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple projects efficiently. Strong networking skills and ability to foster positive working relationships.
