RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for developing repairs with operations cells and meeting the required operations metrics and goals.
  • Responsible for writing work instructions, First Article Inspections and keeping the relevant documentations up to date including those in Share Point, G8 and Solumina.
  • Provide technical support to the shop to achieve engineering and quality excellence.
  • Draft and Review tool/fixture drawings and tooling concepts for the shop on tooling application and usage.
  • Work proactively in addressing potential issues and apply real-time problem solving skills when working towards resolution.
  • Lead and co-ordination for site level Process Certification.
  • Propose and implement creative engineering solution to improve quality and reduce process time.
  • Ensure compliance of standards; drive CORE/continuous improvement, EH&S and Ethics culture in the cells as well as assume roles in CORE/continuous improvement & EH&S sub-committees.
  • Assist Department Manager in all cost issues related to the cells and data analysis to meet company\xe2\x80\x99s revenue/profit goals and achieve cost reduction.
  • Interface with the various business functions such as Engineering, Quality, HR, Customer Service and Materials to achieve repair cell goals and company\xe2\x80\x99s objectives.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Production Engineering.
  • Experience in aircraft engine workshop practices and maintenance & repair of gas turbine engines will be advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
  • Analytical with strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Highly motivated with a strong drive for success.
  • Good team player with strong communications and interpersonal skills.
