The Representation and Law Reform department is looking for a self-motivated team player with a keen interest to support the work of the Council of the Law Society and the various Practice Committees that the department supports. No experience is required and on-the-job training will be provided in a positive working environment.
Responsibilities
Organise and take minutes for Practice Committee meetings and meetings with the Courts and other external stakeholders (with supervision)
Draft and prepare the Law Society\xe2\x80\x99s feedback to stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 consultations (with supervision)
Support and facilitate the work and various initiatives of the Council of the Law Society and the Practice Committees
Requirements
Diploma in Law/ Legal Studies or equivalent is an advantage. However, graduates from any discipline are welcome to apply
Willing to learn and acquire analytical skills relating to the law
Interested to know more about the law, legal issues and the legal profession
Good command of the English language
A people-oriented person who enjoys working in a team
Willing to develop administrative and organisational skills
