The Representation and Law Reform department is looking for a self-motivated team player with a keen interest to support the work of the Council of the Law Society and the various Practice Committees that the department supports. No experience is required and on-the-job training will be provided in a positive working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Organise and take minutes for Practice Committee meetings and meetings with the Courts and other external stakeholders (with supervision)
  • Draft and prepare the Law Society\xe2\x80\x99s feedback to stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 consultations (with supervision)
  • Support and facilitate the work and various initiatives of the Council of the Law Society and the Practice Committees

Requirements
  • Diploma in Law/ Legal Studies or equivalent is an advantage. However, graduates from any discipline are welcome to apply
  • Willing to learn and acquire analytical skills relating to the law
  • Interested to know more about the law, legal issues and the legal profession
  • Good command of the English language
  • A people-oriented person who enjoys working in a team
  • Willing to develop administrative and organisational skills
