We are currently searching for a graduate looking to build a career in consulting to join WATG’s Strategy Team in Singapore. The Strategy Team evaluates the market and economic feasibility of hotels, mixed-use resorts and leisure destinations around the world. The Research Analyst is an entry level position for a university graduate, or a degree holder with 1-2
years relevant experience. He or she will be highly numerate, comfortable with quantitative data and analysis and will be responsible for the basic core research of a project. This can involve conducting desk research, gathering information through phone or face-to-face interviews, and sourcing and interpreting statistical information.
REQUISITE SKILL SET

• Proven research skills. Comfortable in dealing with quantitative data and analysis
• Writing ability that is coherent, grammatically correct, analytical, and professional. Ability

to assimilate data into concise and erudite reports and presentations.

• Highly numerate and competent with Microsoft Excel spreadsheet modelling
• Well travelled with a broad understanding of geography, economics and global affairs
• Team player able to work under pressure
• Organisational skills essential. Coordination of project administration and internal

corporate support

• Strong interpersonal/communication skills, charm and maturity to conduct face-to-face

and telephone interviews

• A passion for leisure and tourism, and a solid understanding of the hospitality sector
• Second language an advantage
• Must be eligible to work in Singapore
