Job Description
Date: 02-Feb-2023 Location: SPECIALTY RESEARCH INST/CTRS, Kent Ridge Campus, SG Company: National University of Singapore
The candidate will work at the Centre for Advanced 2D Materials at the National University of Singapore. The candidate will be working in a highly international and multidisciplinary environment.
The position requires a proactive professional with a wide vision from the academia through the industries, to:
- Perform assigned tasks using standardized products or detailed verbal or written instructions
- Initiate, improve, and revise laboratory operations and test procedures when appropriate
- Formulate strategy for production of composites based on graphene
- Select and negotiate with international material suppliers
- Develop technical documentation for the product line (e.g., technical data sheet, chemical safety data sheet, and technical information for catalogues)
- Develop methods and processes in partnership with universities, third-party laboratories and suppliers
- Collaborate with researchers, post graduates and staff of the centre on research activities
Eligibility & Conditions
Candidates must hold an international-recognized Bachelor and Master\'s degree in the areas related to chemistry, polymer technology, or industrial chemistry. Additionally, the candidate should have:
- Development of new products and applications based on graphene
- Strong knowledge on graphene production process
- Experience of more than one year on chemical industry, total quality methodology and process
- Experience on project management
- Experience with writing patent and scientific articles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
