Research Assistant for GAMIPhy Study
Dr. Ian Ang, Assistant Professor at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health (SSHSPH), NUS, is seeking to hire an individual with relevant skillset and experience to conduct and support his research projects. The primary project to work on is a new study, Gamification with Augmented Reality Mobile Innovations and Physical Activity (GAMIPhy) Study. The GAMIPhy study aims to investigate how the levels of physical activity (including steps, walking, running, and other moderate and vigorous physical activities) vary with different levels of playing the augmented reality mobile game, Pok\xc3\xa9mon Go.
The successful candidate will be expected to complete and manage discrete tasks for this study. The role will require a meticulous, sociable, and driven individual who can work well independently and also with others. Ideally, the candidate will have some practical research experience with participant interactions and data collection. The candidate will also help out with other current and future research projects, and also have opportunities to pick up on new experiences and skillsets.
