Research Assistant in the lab of Associate Professor Nagaendran Kandiah The Dementia Research Centre (Singapore) [DRCS], a recent establishment of the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) was set up to pioneer cutting-edge research initiatives, to enhance understanding of cognitive impairment and dementia spectrum disorders, clinically. DRCS is a multi-study research centre focusing on the pathobiology of Asian Dementia and models of care for cognitive disorders. DRCS is helmed by Associate Professor Nagaendran Kandiah, an internationally renowned clinician scientist in the field of dementia.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Research Assistant/Clinical Research Coordinator to join our Clinical Trials Unit. The incumbent will play a key role in administering and coordinating clinical trials at DRCS to ensure all milestones and deliverables are met.
:
Provide research support service for clinical trials/research in accordance to ICH-GCP and NTU IRB requirements
Independently responsible for administration of clinical trials as assigned by Principal Investigator (PI)
Assist DRCS in the submission process for IRB and HSA
Manage the day-to-day activities of the clinical trials including, but not limited to - patient appointment scheduling, performance of intervention, data collection, entry and analyses, problem solving, communication with internal and external stakeholders, and protocol management
Performs root cause analyses and implements preventative and corrective action when needed
Oversee recruitment and follow-up of patients
Supports and/or leads audit/inspection activities as needed
Budget and financial management
Attend and/or present at relevant research meetings or conferences
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Science, Psychology, Nursing or other Allied Health
Possess 2 years of clinical trial experience in Singapore
Familiar with HBRA, HSA, IRB, DSRB and ICH-GCP process
Competent in large data management and statistical analyses
Phlebotomy skills will be positively valued
