Research Assistant in the Laboratory of Assoc Prof Nagaendran Kandiah:
The Dementia Research Centre (Singapore) is positioned to deep-dive into biological mechanisms that contribute to cognitive impairment and dementia in Asians. The centre will bring together comprehensive digital cognitive evaluation, cutting-edge fluid biomarker discovery as well as state-of-the art neuroimaging techniques to understand Asian Dementia as well as to develop strategies to prevent and delay dementia. Through our work we hope to improve lives of current and future patients with dementia as well as their caregivers.
- Developing the digital health solution platform for DRCS
- Perform feasibility and risk assessment of a new project by mapping out the ideas and the benefits of such a product and the projected costs involved for such as solution in terms of manpower, building of the app and estimating the profit margins
- Manage all aspects of project management, sales, collaboration with external parties, develop the technological solution, participate and contribute in technical development meetings
- Collaborate across DRCS team members and LKC-NTU members to ensure coordinated efforts for grant proposal write ups and obtaining regulatory approval
- Generate DRCS digital health solution awareness and demand for services of our digital health solution
Requirements
- Bachelors/Masters in Engineering or Business with at least 2 years of hands on or field working experience in technical development/technical services/R&D
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous and good with data, responsible worker, self-motivated and takes initiative
- Independent and can work well in a team
- Organized and detail-oriented, problem solver, meet deadlines, ability to adapt to changing priorities
