Applications are invited for the following full-time position in the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health:

Research Assistant (1 year)

A research assistant position is available in the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health to support the Principal Investigator, Assistant Professor Hannah Clapham, in the administration of research projects in the areas of Biostatistics and Modelling. There will be the opportunity to undertake further training and/or work on research projects as relevant for the candidate's career plans.

The research assistant will work on research on infectious disease dynamics in Asia. Major duties and responsibility of the post includes:

  • support for grant applications and administration,
  • project management for multiple research projects,
  • liaison with relevant teams within SSH SPH and internationally to support research projects,
  • assisting the PI in other day-to-day tasks as required.
Candidate must:
  • have experience of managing multiple tasks concurrently,
  • have an undergraduate degree in any area,
  • have an interest in public health,
  • be an independent worker who is well- organized and has an eye for detail,
  • possess excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • possess the ability to work effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals.
It would be desirable for the candidate to:
  • Have experience of administrative tasks
  • Have experience of project management
The grade of appointment will be based on candidate's academic qualifications and years of relevant experience.
