School of Social Sciences is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Assistant.The successful candidate will be an integral member of a research team that advances our research investigating the neural, physiological, and cognitive correlates of perceiving real vs fake information.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day to day coordination of funded projects.Prepare ethics documents to institutional review boards.Participant recruitment.Data collection using neurophysiological recordings, such as electroencephalography.Data processing and analysis.Liaise with stakeholders and project collaborators.Systems administration, including maintenance of network servers and data security.Contribute to the production of research reports.Perform other tasks as required by the Principal Investigators relevant to the research.Job Requirements:Bachelors (Honours) degree in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or related field from university of good standing.Experiences in cognitive experiments and/or neuroimaging (EEG) and/or eye-tracking techniques and knowledge of Python, R, or MATLAB are desirableGood project coordination and administration skills, including data management and storage.Strong oral and written communication skills in English is essential as the Research Assistant is expected to participate in scientificpresentations.Excellent organizational skills and able to work within given deadlines.Self-directed learner who effectively picks up relevant skills as needed.Task-orientation, excellent organizational skills, attention to details and accuracy, flexibility in responding to fluidsituations, good interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently.We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
