Research Assistant (quantum Compiling Engineer)
Job Description
Division of Physics and Applied Physics (PAP) in School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Assistant (RA).
The RA will assist PI (Dr. M. Gluza) in the following tasks as indicated under Key Responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop his quantum compiling software
Analyse numerical results of simulated quantum protocols
Integrate it into QIBO and make it ready for remote dispatch onto quantum processing units developed by the group of Prof. R. Dumke
Program in python quantum routines prescribed by PI
Run quantum compiling codes for different parameters
Analyze the results, quantify effectiveness
Prepare plots, notes and updates for collaborators
Curate the package on Github and integrate with QIBO
Use superconducting qubits developed by the group of Prof. R. Dumke to run protocols
Job Requirements:
BSc in Physics / Engineering / Computer Science / Mathematics or related fields
Knowledge of quantum mechanics
Python programming skills
