Research Associate (digital Humanities)
Job Description
A Research Associate position is currently available in the School of Humanities.The Digital Humanities Research Cluster is part of NTUs College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (COHASS) which focus on the exploration and use of digital tools and technology to explore humanistic questions and approaches.The potential candidate will assist the PI in the Polyglot Medicine Digital Humanities project for 3 months.Key Responsibilities:Align medieval drug name data for text-taggingFormulate and improve technical aspects of DocuSkyConduct integrity testing and data processingDevelop and test data alignment with the Polyglot Medicine dataHandle other relevant tasks needed to enhance user experience (UX)Job Requirements:Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience in web development for Digital Humanities projectsTechnical expertise and experience in utilizing the DocuSky web platformOrganizational, team work and communication skillsFluent in English and Chinese is essential to conduct research analyse dataWe regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
