We are seeking a driven and proactive Research Associate Director to lead the regional APAC research team in driving the research center of excellence in Publicis Groupe. As the Regional APAC Lead for Research, you will be responsible for being the key central point of contact for regional stakeholders and managing and growing a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Project-management all our team research studies from end to end with all stakeholders, including research partners, clients, and your own team.
  • Set standards of excellence, ensuring high-quality thorough checking procedures, conducting detailed checks of proposals, questionnaires, discussion guides, presentations, etc.
  • Independently maintain a good collaborative \xe2\x80\x98trusted advisor\xe2\x80\x99 relationship with key internal clients leads and/or clients themselves, proactively developing a pipeline of projects.
  • Act as an advisor in giving guidance and recommendations on analysis techniques and contribute to strategic content of conclusions and recommendations.
  • Proactively ensure you are continuous learning about the media/marketing industry and that of our clients, building relationships, meeting deadlines, managing client expectations, and liaising with clients on all aspects of a project - from briefing to presentation on overall client needs and not just per individual project.
  • Provide quick support on insights using tools or by designing ad-hoc projects for critical regional pitches.
  • Ensure you are a central expert on new, alternative, and more effective ways of deriving fast efficient consumer insight, leveraging existing and new up-and-coming partners.
  • Assist in the team training / data and tech initiatives self-training on key tools and solutions, especially for tools that relate to custom research studies.
  • Keep up to date on industry developments that affect our clients and prospect clients.
  • Ensure your team\'s capability to augment research with our 3rd party but proprietary tools, such as our proprietary social listening platform.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor\'s Degree with minimum 6 years of experience in market research.
  • Evidence of driving direct revenue projects in the past is preferred.
  • Effective experience of managing teams.
  • Candidates with experience of brand tracking, media channel efficacy, attention measurement, brand/campaign, trends research will be preferred.
  • Possess strategic thinking ability and able to converse easily with senior marketers about not just their measurement challenges but also show an awareness and interest in the industry and the media industry generally.
  • Able to manage projects to a very high level of quality with an exceptional commitment to leading the team to delivering projects on time (and on rare occasions sacrificing personal time if required to achieve this).
  • Able to demonstrate a financial aptitude for tracking, managing, and growing the research revenue, as the team has financial targets for consulting work.
  • Possess excellent presentation and PowerPoint skills.
  • Naturally analytical with excellent project management skills and strong attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and turn data into insights.
