A Research Associate position is currently available in the School of Humanities and will play an integral role in the development of the research project by contributing to the ongoing analysis of films, novels, TV dramas, and plays, as well as the development of the guidelines. They will develop advanced skills in qualitative research methods and learn how to manage a small team of Undergraduate Research Assistants. They will gain experience in publishing for an academic audience and will be a named as a co-author for the article on mental health pathographies. They will develop transferable skills in communications, project management and design, team management, and event organisation.
Job Responsibilities
To close read pathographies (illness narratives)
Manage a small team of undergraduate research assistants
Assist the PI with the development of the guidelines
To liaise between the three teams (core; FGDs; MCRs)
To assist the Medical Humanities research cluster with administrative tasks
Job Requirements
Masters in a Humanities degree
Academic expertise in area related to health, culture, and/or society
Experience in independent research
Willingness to assist with administrative and organizational tasks
