We are looking for a talented and responsible researcher to support the scientific research and the engineering practice in perception, embodied intelligence and robotic foundation model learning.
Key Responsibilities:
The Research Associate will work on a project to conduct research on development of vision-language-action models for manipulation used in household service and manufacturing. The roles of this position include:
Develop robotic foundation models for generalizable robot manipulation based on vision-language-action models
Develop efficient manipulation learning framework from human instructional videos or generated data and reduce the data demand for policy learning
Develop a generalizable manipulation system to complete diverse tasks in household service and manufacturing deployment scenarios
Job Requirement
Master in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field
1-year research experience in related area
Expertise in robotic manipulation systems
Knowledge in robotic foundation models
Publication track record is an advantage
Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as ROS and Python
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal - able to communicate complex concepts clearly and accurately
