Shining Tower (PRECISION): Molecular Profiling of Cancers for Precision Oncology in Singapore (PRECISION) is a national cancer molecular profiling with comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP) programme that aims to develop a care model that will facilitate the integration of comprehensive molecular profiling platforms, including CGP, into routine clinical care, to enhance precision oncology capabilities in Singapore. The program will perform extensive molecular profiling of blood and tissue samples using commercially available analytical platform (FoundationOne Assay, Foundation Medicine, Cambridge, MA), as well as multi-modal data analytics on the molecular profiling results.

We are searching for a committed Research Coordinator (Programme Lead) to supervise the operational conduct of this large program in Singhealth. This leadership position will involve overall project management, overseeing patient and study subject recruitment, sample and data management in collaboration with external collaborators.

This position will provide the candidate with exposure to clinical and translational research project management, as well as its applications in research and development for cancer treatment. This position involves substantial interactions with the clinical teams, research teams and our academic collaborators as well as our industry collaborators and provides exposure to the growing biomedical research landscape in Singapore.

You will be required to:

  • Work closely with clinical teams and research coordinators across different cancer subtypes in the Division of Medical Oncology
  • Implement and monitor programme activities and workflows
  • Strategize and innovate to improve workflow including patient recruitment, follow-up and data management
  • Oversee subjects' consent taking, enrollment into ARiSE platform
  • Work with NCCS Finance department and industrial collaborators on study related payment process
  • Collaborate with different teams to develop data collection forms, logs and other study related documents
  • Extract interim data for analysis
  • Facilitate regulatory approvals and maintain study files for relevant monitoring and audit
  • Coordinate interactions with key collaborators across Research institutes and industrial partners in Singapore
  • Train new staff and any other work that supervisors may assign
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Health Sciences, or any relevant Science field
  • Familiar with PDPA and HBRA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Meticulous, with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as strong skills in verbal and written communication
  • Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
