Job Description

As the Asia/Pacific Research Director, the candidate will be responsible for leading the public sector research team, comprising the Government and Health research practice areas. This will include setting the overall direction of the research, leading custom projects, ensuring quality delivery, and managing the group as a profitable business unit.

The successful candidate will report into the regional industry lead, and will be part of the global research team, representing the region in discussions with global colleagues.

• Critical to success will be the ability to produce high quality research. Being seen as a thought leader setting industry trends, the lead will be responsible for the development of research themes and conveying these themes in an effective manner both in a written and verbal medium.
• The person must be comfortable speaking to senior level executives, and being able to convey ideas in an effective and actionable manner.
• Working across the three product and service areas, of research, custom and events, the public sector lead must be able to manage resources, to enable successful delivery of projects for clients, often within short timelines. Working across countries and other research teams the lead will need to manage multiple projects at once.
• The role will include team management, business development, P&L management, proposal generation, and product and service development.
  

• Deep understanding of public sector (Government - local / Federal, Health, Education...)
• Good knowledge of technology
• Effective in both verbal and writing when presenting / packaging research deliverables to the clients and public
