The hire will focus on metal additive manufacturing: computational modelling and data analytics. This position is specifically on modelling of microstructure evolution using the cellular automaton and/or phase field methods by writing in-house code. The initial contract may be ~ 2 years, and can renew later to 4 years at most.
Qualifications
The candidate is required to have expertise in modelling of microstructure evolution in additive manufacturing via in-house coding. The candidate should have a degree of B. Eng or M. Eng on relevant areas, e.g., mechanical engineering, materials science. The candidate is expected to complete high-quality systematic research works.
