Research Engineer (ai For Science)
Job Description
A Research Engineer position is open immediately in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore. Successful candidate is expected to work in the field of AI for Science. Especially, the work is to develop advanced AI models for computational physics and computational materials applications. The candidate will also conduct calculations using DFT and/or AIMD for generating training dataset.QualificationsCandidates should have a master\'s degree in physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. They should also have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and able to guide undergraduate students to conduct projects. Successful candidate is expected to perform DFT/AIMD calculations to understand the underlying physics for explainable AI model development.
