The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) invites applications for the position of Research Engineer I.Key Responsibilities:Perform research and analysis and to execute solar cell, module & system experiment on journal publication level.Lead the solar cell, module and system regeneration research/industrialization activities and perform measurements/characterization for the research project.Responsible for the regeneration lab equipment related activities, includes specification and design, maintenance and license.Execution of solar material, cell, module and system experiment activities and perform characterization and analysis for the research project.Documentation of the experiment results, lab reports and prepare quality presentation materials.Assist to public journal/conference publications when required, documentation of the experiment results, lab reports and prepare quality presentation materials.Capable of making independent contributions and to meet project deliverables.Support researchers both within the team and industry collaborator for delivering the projects and to meet the project deadline.Provide training for the internship students and research/industry collaborators involved in this project.Job Requirements:Candidate with degree in engineering/material science/physics/chemistry or related fields in preferred.2 - 3 years of working experience is preferable, entry level candidates are also welcome.Industrial/lab experience in solar device design is preferred.Experience in planning and executing solar device or material related experiment is preferred.Material characterization experience is preferred.Team player with good communication & interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team as well as independently.Able to carry out and summarize literature research and study.Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Able to communicate with other researchers (internal and external) and engineers effectively.Able to work overtime when necessary.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
