Job Description

The candidate will be in a team of different expertise to research, design and develop products with cooperation from various external vendors/suppliers. The candidate will be in charge of research efforts in technology, new methodology, electronics and will be expected to lead in experimental design set up, interpret and analyze data sets, and work together with the team in the development of new and existing products for its full product cycle from research to production.The Candidate is also involved in the drafting of White Papers, Patents and will be provided training in Gemology.Responsibilities . Conduct various research to find solutions for new or existing products . Develop and write white paper to support product usage. . Draft patents for new or existing invention. . Stay abreast of current and existing technological advancement of gemology and provide valuable insights to the company. . Interpret data sets and design experimental set up . Collaborate with team members to work effectively and solve day to day issues . Assist with hardware troubleshooting & support hardware debugging . Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning of product . Any other duties as may be assigned.Requirements . Degree or Masters in Engineering (Materials/Metallurgy/Technology) . Background in Electronics is a requirement . Experience in UV technologies is an added benefit . Experience in Laboratory environment is an added benefit . No experience needed . Knowledge of Microcontroller and Microprocessor is a plus . Knowledge of C/C++ is a plus . Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills . Able to start work within short notice will be an advantage
