The hire will focus on research about metal additive manufacturing: computational modeling and data analytics, and may work on one of the following topics:
1) uncertainty quantification;
2) thermal stress modelling, with the ability to write subroutines;
3) multi-objective optimization of additive manufacturing.
Qualifications
The candidates must have phd degrees and are required to have expertise in one of the following areas:
1) uncertainty quantification;
2) thermal stress modelling, with the ability to write subroutines;
3) multi-objective optimization of additive manufacturing.
The expertise on additive manufacturing is a plus but not a must.
