Research Fellow (chemical Reactor Engineering)
Job Description
The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
The Research Fellow\xe2\x80\x99s role is primarily to execute project in a multidisciplinary team, aiming to perform experimental measurements and/or develop computational models of the transport phenomena between gas and solid phases and to achieve better conversion and yield of the intended reaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform experimental/computational studies on heat, mass and flow properties in packed bed reactors
Provide effective design solutions to optimize the reactor performance
Develop new methods and techniques for analysis of heat and mass transfer properties
Perform technical design reviews and recommend improvements
Work with computational team in developing and executing design verification plans
Job Requirements:
PhD degree in chemical engineering or closely related field
Background in process engineering and process reaction engineering
Experience with characterization of heat and mass transfer properties
Good understanding of the scientific and engineering principles
