Research Fellow (computer Science/mechanical/aerospace Engineering)
Job Description
The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research in artificial intelligence methods and machine learned models.
Collect and analyze air traffic data related to the project.
Develop optimization algorithm and models for Air traffic management.
Run simulations and perform visualization and data analysis.
Develop prototypes and intelligent tools for Air traffic flow management.
Assist PI with project management and lead/mentor research team.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with industrial and academic partners.
Publish in top conferences and journals and also to assist the PI in managing the research project

Job Requirements:
PhD degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
Strong publication record in top journals (SCI Q1) and peer-reviewed aviation conferences.
Strong theoretical background in machine learning, computational intelligence and optimization
Strong programming skills in Python, C++, MATLAB
Good English writing and communication skills
Independent and team player
