One Research Fellow (postdoctoral) position is available in the Humanized Mouse Unit (HMU) of the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, A*STAR, Singapore.
The understanding of many biological processes in humans relies on experimental studies in animal models, particularly rodents. However, many aspects of the human biological system are species specific, such as human specific cell types and immune genes. Our mission is to develop humanized mouse models which closely recapitulate in vivo human biology for the study of human diseases and drug development. This is critical to the understanding and development of therapeutics to many human specific diseases.
