Job Description
The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERIAN) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up flow tunnel and waste-to-energy plant to perform experiments on various acoustics and operating conditions
- Undertake numerical simulation of flow and acoustics
- Innovate and seek technologies for particle separation and energy savings from industrial plants
- Support project and undertake investigation into predictive controls of buildings.
- Manage project and assist in lab set-up, procurement, etc.
- Other job responsibilities
- Publish quality research articles to disseminate study findings
- Undertake project administrations and liaison
- Provide regular updates and reports
- Candidate must possess at least a Ph.D/M.Eng. in Engineering or Material Science or Optics or Equivalent.
- Experience in material design, fabrication and chatacterisation
- Good experimental skillsets [numerical skillsets will be a bonus but not necessity]
- Good track record in scientific publication
- Good interpersonal skills. Excellent teamwork awareness
- Strong responsibility for research / work
- Good team player, open to learn
