A Research Fellow position is available in the Centre for Optical Fibre Technology, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. : The A Research Fellow position is available in the Centre for Optical Fibre Technology, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. : The Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct the research on development of functional fibers and textiles. The roles of this position include: Develop fabrication process based on thermal drawing to achieve fiber-based functional devices Develop material synthesis and characterization system for fabrication and testing new materials for fiber-based functional devices Manage application-orientated projects on fiber-based functional textiles Job Requirements: PhD degree in the areas of Electronics, Materials Engineering, Textiles, or other related fields Hands-on experience in fabrication of fiber devices Hands-on experience in textiles Research experience in building up measurement setup Demonstrated capability in scientific writing and presenting skills Publication record in top journals is mandatory Proficiency in English We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
