Research Fellow (flexible Electronics)

Job Description
A Research Fellow position is available at School of Materials Science & Engineering (MSE), Singapore Nanyang Technological University (NTU). The main role is to design and fabricate flexible mechanical sensors for sense digitalization and advanced robotics. Potential candidates should be able to independently conduct research with strong self-motivation and exploration spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate new functional materials for flexible and conformal sensors and electrodes
- Design, preparation and characterization of flexible tactile sensor
- Perform nanomaterials fabrication & characterization; electric performance evaluation
- Integrate flexible electronics sensor system for advanced robotics
- Hold a Ph.D. Degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related field
- Expertise in flexible mechanical sensors, flexible electronics
- Solid knowledge in analogue/digital circuit
- Solid knowledge in machine-learning algorithm
- Capable of design and assemble of device prototypes
