Job Description


CNRS-International-NTU-Thales Research Alliance (CINTRA) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.

CINTRA (IRL 3288) is a joint research laboratory between Nanyang Technological University, the French National Center of Scientific Research (CNRS), and Thales, bringing together researchers and students from France and Singapore. CINTRA has vast experience in the development of 2D materials, and has published many publications in high-impact journals, such as Nature series.

Key Responsibilities:

To set up a flux-assisted deposition system

To synthesize various kinds of 2D materials with the flux-assist deposition system

To characterize the quality of the synthesized 2D flakes

To draft research papers for academic journals

To train new manpower (PhD or FYP) if there is any

Requirements:

Ph.D degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from top universities;

Experienced on materials deposition, especially with flux-assited growth of 2D materials

Experienced on the material characterization with Raman, AFM, XPS, etc.;

High quality publications in reputed journals;

Good communication skills and the ability to work with collaborators and also can work independently
