The School of Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
Focus on growth and characterization of 2D single crystals
Collaborative environment with experts in nanomaterials, spectroscopy, STEM, and theoretical modeling
Characterization techniques: AFM, XPS, XRD, Raman, PL, SEM
Magnetic property and electrical transport measurements using physical property measurement system, vibrating sample magnetometer, etc.
Investigation of spintronic properties of 2D materials and their heterostructures
Design and fabrication of novel spintronic devices for memory and computing applications
Job Requirements:
Ph.D. graduated from materials, nanoelectronics or relevant field.
Strong collaboration skills with experts in nanomaterials, transport, STEM, and computing
Independent fabrication, characterization, and development of 2D materials and spintronic devices
Knowledge in magnetism, spintronics, and experience in device fabrication and characterization
Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)
Proficiency in software tools and published research in top-profile journals
