As a component of NTU\xe2\x80\x99s College of Engineering, MSE is now globally acknowledged as a leading research establishment, collaborating with esteemed universities, multinational corporations, and R&D institutions, and attracting funding from various sources.An ideal candidate for this position should possess a solid background in electrochemistry, materials science, chemistry, and materials physics.Key Responsibilities:Supporting cutting-edge research in small molecule electrocatalysis for electrolysis and fuel cells.Primarily investigating the correlation between catalysts\' solid-state properties and their performance, including the development of new electrode materials for small molecule catalysis.Providing day-to-day assistance to the research team.May have the opportunity to undertake open-ended research projects under the supervision of the research team.Mentoring and guiding graduate studentsAny other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:A PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Solid-state Physics, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.Proficient analytical and conceptual skills.Capable of working autonomously or collaboratively within an R&D context.Demonstrated track record of publishing papers in conferences and journals.Willingness and aptitude for mentoring and guiding graduate students on relevant methodologies.Consistent production of detailed reports and well-organized documentation.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.Extensive research background in electrocatalysis, catalyst development for fuel cells, and materials chemistry.Ability to contribute effectively as a team member in experimental research support.Strong capacity for independent research pursuits.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
