The Luminous! Centre of Excellence for Semiconductor Lighting and Displays, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is seeking a Research Fellow for The Luminous! Centre of Excellence for Semiconductor Lighting and Displays, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is seeking a Research Fellow for NLED projects to perform collaborative research on nanocrystal design, development, growth and characterization for multiple goals in this project. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting experiments, analyzing data, writing, and presenting reports, and publishing research results. : Design of novel heterostructures of colloidal nanoplatelets/nanocrystals as per project requirements Synthesis and characterization of nanoplatelets/nanocrystals heterostructures To work closely with NLEDs R&D teams on material design for achieving the project goals Advanced quantum emitter synthesis and development of pixelated NLEDs Fabrication and integration of CQE downconversion layer on microLEDs Colloidal synthesis of rare-earth-doped colloidal quantum wells and demonstration of high-performance luminescence solar concentrators Job Requirements: PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering/Physics/Materials Science or related field Expertise in the synthesis of colloidal nanocrystals like nanoplatelets, quantum dots Expertise in nanocrystal characterization techniques, i.e., SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, Optical, etc Able to independently plan and execute research work Strong Publication track record in reputed journals We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
