Job Description
We are seeking for a suitable Research Fellow with expertise in cell/tissue culture, molecular biology, and animal work. You will be part of an established and nationally funded multi-disciplinary and multi-institution research program that focuses on liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma, HCC). This position involves:
- Knowledge in cell biology in a broad sense, responsible for cell culture of patient-derived cells.
- Experience in working with mouse model, responsible for patient-derived xenograft mouse model establishment.
- Various molecular assays including, but not limited to, PCR, real time PCR, western blot, histology, molecular cloning, biochemistry, fluorescence cellular imaging, and image quantitative analysis.

Job Requirements
- Ph.D.’s degree in Life Sciences or Biological Sciences.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a life science environment with experience.
- Prior experience in primary cell culture.
- Have experience in animal (mouse) handling, hydrodynamic tail vein injection (HDTV), mouse liver physiology and patho-physiology.
- Good laboratory data analysis and recording skills are necessary.
- Good organizational and communication (written and oral) skills.
- A team player in a multi-institutional enterprise.
- Good interpersonal skills.
