The successful applicant will be involved in a multidisciplinary and collaborative research study on the built environment and mental well-being. He/She will investigate how the urban environment, such as neighbourhood design, heat stress and noise pollution, can influence the positive and negative aspects of mental well-being in families. The candidate will also be involved in longitudinal cohort studies and collaborations with clinicians and researchers from a wide range of disciplines.
Job description
Data management and analysis of data
Combine a thorough examination of the literature with study results to answer scientific questions and hypothesis
Assist with preparation of scientific publications, data reports, grants and presentations
Perform measurements, collection of data and samples as well as field and experimental work
Assist with other administrative duties
Job requirements
Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Bioinformatics, Architecture, Statistics, Geography, Real Estate, Urban Planning or a closely related field
Applicants with no experience may apply.
Highly self-motivated with excellent communication and writing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and statistical program.
Strong desire to learn in a dynamic multi-disciplinary research environment.
Previous experience with geospatial analysis, managing and analyzing data sets and/or in bioinformatics will be preferred.
