The Catalysis and Green Process Engineering Division is seeking for a proactive, highly motivated and creative scientist to lead and contribute to research in the areas of sustainable processes (for environment, energy and chemicals) and clean energy innovations, particularly CO2 to chemicals. Work with a group of researchers for material and process innovations and development, characterization and application in the areas of hydrogen economy, clean energy solutions (beyond hydrogen), alternative feedstock for chemicals and energy. The scope of work includes, but not limited to:

Catalyst development
Project/program initiation, planning execution
Design and build lab-scale prototype/setup and run design of experiments
Materials characterization, analysis and property-performance relationship understanding
Mechanistic study,
Write technical reports, papers, and present results to various stakeholders
Job Requirements

PhD in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / Material Science or equivalent
Good knowledge in heterogeneous catalysis, electrocatalysis, thermal catalysis and plasma catalysis is highly preferred
Prior hands-on experience in material synthesis, characterization, analysis, and process engineering is required
Preferably 1-3 years of working experience, postdoctoral training candidate with strong capabilities can be considered.
Able to work effectively and independently in a team
Having strong analytical skills to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions/approaches to problems.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multi-culture team environment
Knowledge in characterizations and testing of materials
Good written and oral communication skills
