The role requires expertise in social science, data analysis, and research methodologies.What You Will Be DoingKey Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualisation and execution of high-impact research projects aligned with the Centre\'s vision for social good, including the design and implementation of impact assessment methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of social programs and interventions.
• Design and implement quantitative and qualitative research studies to explore key social issues.
• Analyse large datasets using advanced statistical tools to extract meaningful insights related to social impact.
• Collaborate with external partners to collect data and information required for projects, ensuring ethical standards are maintained.
• Engage with non-profit organizations, government agencies, and academic institutions to support research collaboration on social good projects.
• Lead the preparation of grant applications and proposals to secure funding from governmental, non-governmental, and philanthropic sources.
• Collaborate with the Centre\'s leadership to identify new funding opportunities that align with the Centre\'s mission and strategic priorities.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring efficient use of funds and personnel.
• Prepare high-quality research reports, policy briefs, academic publications, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, contribute to white papers, and present at conferences.

Job Requirements

• Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Public Health, Economics, Data Science, Sociology, Environmental Studies, etc.) or master\'s degree with significant research experience.
• At least 3 years of post-doctoral or equivalent research experience, ideally in social impact or related fields.
• Proven experience leading research projects with interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to secure research funding through grants or partnerships.
• Good publication record in relevant fields.
• Advanced expertise in research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools
• Strong understanding of data visualisation and reporting techniques.
• Excellent communication and writing skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent stakeholder management with excellent interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on applying research to real-world challenges.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Always observe a code of strict confidentiality.
