Processes reservations by mail, telephone, telex, cable, fax or central reservation systems referral. Book reservations for travel, hotels, rental cars, and special events, such as tours and excursions
Make alternative booking arrangements if changes arise before or during the trip
Knows the selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans.
Creates and maintains reservation records by date of arrival and alphabetical listing.
Processes cancellations and modifications and promptly relays this information
Handles daily correspondence. Responds to inquires and makes reservations as needed.
Promotes goodwill by beings courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests, mangers, and fellow employees.
Processes advance deposits on reservations and monitor payments and process collections.
Qualifications:
with at least 2 years experience in travel, booking and reservations
responsible in acting and decision making when necessary
can handle staff and with a good team leader skills
with experience and knowledge to AMADEUS, ABACUS, Xaver and other updated systems used for booking and reservation
Graduate of Hotel and restaurant management , Tourism or equivalent
