Act as the primary point of contact between the customer, Singapore office, and Japan headquarters for technical and operational communication regarding the GTCC Power Plant.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with the customer, ensuring their issues and requirements are addressed promptly and effectively.
Respond to and resolve technical requests related to plant operation and maintenance of GTCC Power Plant, applying engineering principles and technical knowledge to ensure smooth functioning.
Proactively identify potential failures, assess operational risks, and advise customers on inspection and maintenance activities, supported by remote monitoring and technical expertise.
Coordinate all planned and unplanned maintenance activities, ensuring alignment between the customer, MPW resources, local vendors, and technical advisors.
Analyze and report monthly Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) data, providing performance insights and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
Lead or support troubleshooting and failure investigations of operational issues on-site, ensuring efficient recovery or continuous operation of the plant, especially during emergencies.
Assist the customer in selecting spare parts and tools for maintenance, optimizing availability and inventory management.
Requirements:
Min. Diploma or Degree in a relevant engineering or technical field.
Min. 10 years of work experience in the Power or Process Industries, with site work in LTSA, plant commissioning, field service, or maintenance of GTCC power plants or rotating equipment preferred.
Expertise in Gas Turbine Combined Cycle (GTCC) operations, mechanical systems, instrumentation, controls, and plant operations, along with strong troubleshooting abilities.
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving problems through regular interaction with plant personnel.
