Job Description

Responsibilities:

Supervise and inspect viaduct or tunnel construction works to ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and safety standards. Monitor site progress and quality of works carried out by contractors. Conduct site inspections, maintain daily records, and prepare site reports. Assist the Resident Engineer in coordinating construction activities. Verify contractors' submissions, shop drawings, and material approvals. Ensure that all site works adhere to workplace safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution. Registered with

IES as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO)

. Minimum

3 years of relevant experience

viaduct, tunnel, or large-scale infrastructure projects

(LTA or equivalent). Familiar with relevant local codes, specifications, and authority procedures. Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Able to work independently and under minimal supervision.
