Some proven track record in:


Good Understanding and knowledge about IP address Good Understanding and knowledge Mac address Good Understanding and knowledge Vlan, LAN & WAN Physical layer troubleshooting Good knowledge with Ping, trace commands Hardware break fix support Good Understanding on Routing protocols Knowledgeable on type of Patch Cords (SMF/MMF/Copper cable) OSI /TCP/IP Model ARP Knowledgeable on switches and ports (Console Port, Management Port, ilo, IDrac) Racking and stacking of network devices Perform Cable patching (end to end connectivity) Installing and troubleshooting enterprise equipment
This position will support facilities management with a commitment and desire to satisfy our client by completing all work at the highest level, always striving for perfection. The candidate must be motivated and self-driven for success.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

The patching cabling between network equipment and client's network The installation of power cables from equipment to power supply in rack/cabinet/closet The installation, troubleshooting and de-installing IT equipment (Servers / Network / Storage / etc)
. Install/swap out devices (e.g., phone, computers, cables, boards, edge routers, switches and etc.)


Complete all hard and complex Move, Add Change (MAC) requests within the defined service levels Act as interface between client's associates and management Provide hardware break-fix services for network infrastructure Perform onsite call-through, data, voice, website and security testing Perform back-up testing to ensure all systems are connected to the client's network as directed Support carrier testing of circuits Assist with facilities efforts such as vendor co-ordination and vendor supervision
. Power and uninterruptable power supply (UPS) restoral


. Emergency cooling restoration,


. Fire suppression exercises, restoration, and post fire events


Support inventory management activities
. Receiving inventory


. Tagging of assets


. Tracking spares (crash kits)


. Ordering inventory


. Updating inventory records


. Prepare and return damaged equipment
