Job Description


The Resource Development Associate is to support the Active Community Transformation Services division in handling administration, operations, coordination and delivery of activities related to volunteer and fundraising management.

Responsibilities

1. Administrative & Financial Tasks
  • Maintains accurate administrative records and tracking of donors and volunteers data in the databases
  • Performs financial tasks to maintain proper record of all payments, such as basic book keeping, prepares and submits printer contra, petty cash, cash advance, purchase order, approval memos and other monthly expenses and special events
  • Prepares reports for both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. management reports)
  • Performs administrative and office support for the Resource Development Department and ACTS Division, duties include fielding telephone calls, word processing, creating spreadsheets, minutes taking, organizing meetings
2. Fundraising
  • Supports Fundraising Manager in event management and projects
  • Coordinates and liaises with stakeholders (e.g. individuals, corporations, foundations) for effective engagement
  • Assists in donor cultivation through account tracking
  • Assists in research, grant applications, proposals and donor impact reports
3. Volunteer Management
  • Supports Volunteer Manager in recruitment, screening and coordination of volunteers for outreach programmes/events
  • Supports volunteer engagement through volunteer onboarding, equipping and appreciation sessions
4. Marketing & PR Tasks
  • Assists in digital marketing, such as content creation and tracking of analytics
  • Assists and liaises with external vendors and partners
  • Schedules and publishes social media posts on various accounts

Pre-Requisites

  • A Diploma in sales, marketing or related disciplines
  • At least 1 year of working experience
  • Interest in social services, especially in fundraising and donor management
  • Experience in event/project management
  • Computer literate especially in MS Office, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Ability to do graphic design and marketing will be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and independent worker
  • Ability to plan, balance and cope with competing priorities
  • Team player and able to multi-task under pressure and different stakeholders
