Supervising staff:
Managing and training staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, to ensure efficient service and adherence to standards.
Customer service:
Handling customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Inventory management:
Maintaining accurate inventory records, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
Financial planning:
Assisting with budgeting, cost control, and tracking sales and expenses.
Scheduling:
Creating and managing staff schedules, including opening and closing procedures.
Management Responsibilities:
Hiring and training: Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new staff members, and providing training on restaurant policies and procedures.
Staff performance: Monitoring staff performance, providing coaching and feedback, and addressing any issues that arise.
Health and safety: Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and other relevant laws.
Additional Duties:
Communication: Acting as a liaison between management and staff, and between staff and customers.
Problem-solving: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during service, such as equipment malfunctions or customer complaints.
Supporting marketing efforts: Assisting with promotional activities and special events.
Maintaining records: Keeping accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory.
Requirement:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as Business, Culinary and F&B Management
Min 2-3 years experience in F&B industry
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficient in inventory management and cost control
Passion for the F&B industry and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
Flexible and able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays and events as required
