Job Summary

The restaurant supervisor oversees the daily operations of a restaurant, managing staff, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring guest satisfaction with food and service.





Primary Responsibilities

Supervises staff members and assigns tasks and responsibilities Y
Ensures all staff members adhere to proper food handling and safety procedures Y
Maintains clean and organized restaurant environment Y
Manage inventory and orders supplies as needed Y
Assists with menu planning and development Y
Communicate with customers and provide exceptional service Y
Handles customer complaints and resolves issues in a timely manner Y
Creates employee schedules and manages labor costs Train and develop employees to improve performance and productivity Monitors and maintains restaurant budgets and financial reports

Previous experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry Y
Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures Y
Excellent customer service skills Y
Ability to manage staff and delegate tasks effectively Y
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Y
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing situations, and multitask Y
Proficient in using restaurant management software and other computer programs Y
Associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred
