Who We Need
The Retail Officer will be responsible for assisting in the overall operation of the Retail Pharmacy by ensuring that walk-in customers/patients\' requests are processed accordingly and daily sales records are updated regularly.
The responsibilities are as stated below.
Ensure store housekeeping and merchandising standards are achieved.
Set-up shelves with merchandise and merchandising aids when new vendors come on board / rotation of floorplan / promotion execution.
Assist in ordering / maintaining / monitoring of stocks and inventory control.
Establish good inventory management by maintaining and updating expiry date records of all merchandise.
Conduct merchandising training to new and existing employees.
Assist in cashiering duties in the absence of the cashier.
Assist Pharmacist in processing and preparing walk-in prescriptions, Pharmacy-Only sales and the sale of other retail merchandise as required by customers.
Assist Pharmacist in dispensing duties.
Ensure that product information like price, barcode and Oracle codes are maintained and updated in the computer system, regularly and accurately.
Monitoring retail sales record monthly.
Planning of promotional activities for the Retail Pharmacy and Co-ordination of Retail Roadshow Promotion and management of promoters\' activities.
Provide good customer service to customers so that customers\' needs are met and feedback on customer\'s demand & requests on special items.
Perform any other duties as and when required by the Pharmacist/ Pharmacy Manager, for example, rostered to work in OPD and main pharmacy on Sundays.
How to Succeed
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Passed Pharmacy Technician Course.
At least 3-5 years\' experience in hospital or Retail pharmacy.
5 days\' work week.
