Role Summary: Develop, implement and manage tactical retail strategy, initiatives and programs that drive the segment’s revenue, volumes and profitability. Accountabilities:

  • Effectively manage and execute Data Driven Marketing (DDM) programs to ensure the delivery of maximized growth, profitability and return on investments (ROI).
  • Conduct regular tracking and analysis on DDM programs and provide performance updates to Management as well as input on program improvement and new strategic opportunities that can be explored.
  • Appointed owner of the Retail Customer Marketing Database - acquire accurate and relevant data in database and create data quality standards and procedures to maintain accuracy and usability of data.
  • Manage and track all KPIs, regular reports on frontline performance on all country retail programs and input to all implementation plans and business cases.
  • Initiate & facilitate sales & marketing campaigns and programs.
  • Maintain appropriate sales & marketing tools (such as the Retail Customer Marketing Database & COMET Campaign Management), materials, process and other guidelines to ensure effective execution, management and measurement of programs.
  • Implement aligned global/regional branding and communications guidelines for retail customer touch points.
  • Maintain awareness of competitor activity and recommend tactics to counter any emerging threats by competitors.
  • Provide inputs & business data analysis for brief to agencies & external consultants.
  • Support in developing & implementing a strong brand presence at all retail locations, at the same time, ensuring adherence to company policies & procedures.
  • Implement retail programs on alliances or partnerships with chosen 3rd party reseller/retailer networks.
  • Work with other functions to achieve overall business goals.

Your Profile:
  • Ability to align qualitative thinking to quantitative analysis in order to reach and justify a strategic or tactical decision
  • Strong English (written and spoken) comprehension and communication skills are essential
  • 3 years of experience in the field of Retail Sales and Marketing
  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong numerical, database and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated achievement in developing and implementing strategic sales & marketing programs
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Retail trade from a service perspective
  • Comprehensive knowledge of logistics industry
