Job Description


Overall Role Purpose:Reporting to the Retail Manager, you will manage an assigned group of new & existing DHL Service Points via the telephone and visits. Supported by sales and marketing campaigns, you will actively drive sales revenue through new store acquisitions and growing your existing base to achieve the assigned sales targets. In addition, you are also responsible for customer development and retention through up-selling and cross-selling DHL\'s services and products.

  • Formulate a personal sales plan that incorporates initiatives to identify and gain new business prospects and maximize growth within the existing clientele base to achieve the required personal sales results.
  • Combine sales skills with DHL product & service knowledge to retain and grow the maximum possible cash customers in order to increase the size and quality of DHL\'s loyal cash customers base.
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports to measure individual and provide figures showing weekly productivity of the individual through the use of DHL sales tools in a timely manner.
  • Provide adequate training to on-ground staff from new and existing stores to perform POS activities in the most efficient and effective manner.
  • Monitor closely on store GMB reviews to achieve the highest customer ratings to showcase DHL product and service excellence.
  • Build a strong client relationship to ensure the customer performs and grows to its maximum potential, reducing attrition rate and minimize opportunities for competitors to gain business.
  • Prepare sales performance reviews for the assigned territory to evaluate individual store performance and identify white spaces that have opportunities for future growth.
  • Perform QBR reviews for key customers to evaluate performance and determine areas of improvements to grow our business. Collaborate with customers to develop ad-hoc activities that will drive revenue targets.
  • Analyze and monitor customer data to measure success and identify fluctuations/trends so as to decide on relevant actions to be taken.
  • Be the second caller for Medallia platform to address customer enquiries and provide solution to resolve on-ground issues in the most efficient manner.
  • Ensure that customer information is maintained timely and accurately in the customer database.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales preferred.
  • Highly driven and passionate in selling.
  • Customer-oriented, proactive and possess a positive work attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel and powerpoint.
  • Proactive in lead search with an growth mindset.
  • Good sense of business acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Diploma or equivalent preferred.
