Christian Bassett is recruiting a Retail Training Specialist Southeast Asia for luxury retail company.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging refresher and mini training sessions for internal and external boutiques, both in-person and virtually, tailored to various learning styles.
Conduct regular boutique visits to observe operations and provide on-the-ground coaching to reinforce application of training (e.g., selling ceremony, service standards).
Collaborate with the Training Manager to assess the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics.
Provide consistent updates to the Training Manager on training progress, including attendance, completion rates, and key milestones.
Maintain accurate records of employee training activities, certifications, and development achievements.
Support training logistics and administration including planning, preparation, and execution of workshops and training sessions.
Follow up on Quality Visit action plans to ensure timely and effective implementation in boutiques.
Organize and facilitate orientation programs for new boutique hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
Liaise with relevant departments to ensure new hires receive all essential information and resources.
Track completion of mandatory e-learning and training modules during onboarding.
Monitor new hire progress and serve as a point of contact for any onboarding-related queries or concerns.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in retail training, ideally within the luxury sector.
Diploma in Retail Management, Sales, or a related field preferred.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Effective communicator with a passion for developing others.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Southeast Asia (SEA) business operations is a plus.
Mandarin language proficiency is an advantage.
Adaptable, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated ability to transfer knowledge and expertise effectively.
Strong foundation in boutique operations and management.
Skilled in coaching boutique managers and sales teams to success.
