We are looking for an experienced Wharf Attendant to join our Marine function based in Singapore.As the Wharf Attendant, you will:
To assist with safe berthing / unberthing of vessel. Support Wharf Supervisor on all jetty operations. Ensure orderliness and cleanliness of jetty
Assist with TOLL permit-to-work
Get endorsement from vessel or client's representative
Report any unsafe act or conditions at workplace. Adhere with all local governing bodies regulations
To strictly comply with all relevant company and WSH policies / regulations
To be deployed as rigger & signaller, forklift operator and other assigned task during working / overtime. Execute all work instructed by Supervisors and above.
QualificationsAbout youTo be successful in this role, you will need:
Minimum Secondary school education level or equivalent
Able to speak, read, and write English (Entry level)
No colour-blindness and physically fit
Able to work at outdoor
Able to commit OT after office hours, weekend & Public Holiday is an advantage.
Prior experience working at shipyard is an advantage
