Job Description
Risk Analyst
Reporting to the Head of Risk and/or Risk Manager, the Risk Analyst will assist with the compliance and risk aspects relating to projects.
Role and responsibilities:
- Performing Know Your Client (“KYC”) and Due Diligence (“DD”) on our prospective project partners.
- Managing the Due Diligence and KYC files.
- Drafting and updating project risk register and risk maps.
- Monitoring project partner reputational risk.
- Assisting with the audit of our project partners (no travel required).
- Monitoring compliance with specific contractual terms, for example collecting and reviewing periodic returns from project partners.
- Maintaining an insurance register to ensure no lapses in coverage, and maintain a record of claims.
- Tracking payments to project partners against contracts.
- Reviewing responses to partner questionnaires
- Various other ad-hoc finance projects.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accountancy / Business
- 2 to 3 years of compliance-related and/or risk-related working experience
- Strong report writing skills
- Able to handle confidential data at all times
