Job Description


Key Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for formulating and implementing risk assessment standards, systems and processes for the company's various businesses, regularly checking the risk control situation of each business department, and establishing risk databases and tracking files. 2. Risk control management of physical and future/paper trading, including computing mark to market for physical, match to market price, match to financial hedges, etc. 3. Independent credit analysis, performing KYC/AML checks on new counterparties/customers/Trade Suppliers during the onboarding process to identify key credit risk issues and recommend appropriate credit limits for Management approval. 4. Annual independent credit analysis of existing counterparties to detect any deterioration of financial condition and adverse industry risk for credit approval. 5. Communicate clearly to the operation teams to ensure credit expectations are conveyed effectively, ensure compliance with the company’s credit risk policies and procedures. 6. Monitor news/market developments and assist in daily internal monitoring of counterparty exposures and mitigation actions thereof. 7. Work closely with the Trade team and the Finance team to produce concise and effective risk reporting for business heads and senior management, to communicate key risk issues and concerns. 8. Champion the continual improvement risk control processes. Participate in the risk assessment of new business project to ensure it is in compliance with the internal risk management policy. 9. Undertake any other duties assigned by the Company.

Requirements of Education, Experience and Skill Sets: 1. Bachelor degree in the major of Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics, Accountancy or other related majors 2. At least 4-5 years of experience in risk control positions 3. Prior experience in oil/energy/petrochemical industry preferred 4. Broad and practical understanding of the legal and regulatory environment and key legislation impacting on trading business activities and financial operations 5. Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative credit risk models and methodologies, understanding the risk component in real-time operations control 6. Good teamwork spirit, strong skills at communications, organization, coordination, comprehensive analysis and judgment 7. Good professional ethics and professionalism, can work quickly and effectively under work pressure 8. Self-motivated, well-organized, reliable, strong integrity 9. Proficient in computer commonly-used office software
